Construction of the Mayenne viaduct

The Mayenne viaduct, which forms part of the Château Gonthier bypass project carried out on behalf of the Mayenne Departmental Council, the SCE research unit and architect Thomas Lavigne ensuring the project management. It provides motorists, cyclists and pedestrians with access to both banks of the river.

This 330-metre-long structure includes a metal arch spanning 125 metres. More than 150,000 m³ of earthworks were required to create the access routes and embankments.
