The Noyon bypass
Project
The aim of the RD932 Noyon western bypass is to relieve congestion in central Noyon and improve traffic conditions to reduce journey times and enhance the living environment of local residents. The project to build a 3,200-metre-long dual carriageway with two roundabouts – one with a 25-metre radius and the other with a 30-metre radius – includes earthworks, the carriageway and cycle paths.
The work is phased to allow traffic to flow freely on neighbouring roads.
Although work was suspended on this project site during the first coronavirus pandemic lockdown in March 2020, it was able to resume just 40 days later on 27 April.
